Police charge 15 men with affray over mass brawl in Runcorn on Brisbane's southside

 Fifteen men have been charged in relation to a brawl on Brisbane's southside earlier this week that allegedly involved dozens of men armed with swords, axes and knives.

Emergency services were called to a street in Runcorn about 10:30pm on Monday night after reports of a large disturbance.

Queensland records one new case of COVID-19 as NSW area of Glen Innes Severn removed from Queensland border bubble

 Queensland has recorded one new locally acquired case of COVID-19 as authorities announced the state would reinstate border restrictions with the New South Wales council area of Glen Innes Severn.

Health Minister Yvette D'Ath said the case was detected in home quarantine and was not infectious in the community.

Two men accused of involvement in 'organised violent attack' at Runcorn in southern Brisbane granted bail

 Two men accused of being involved in a large street brawl in southern Brisbane this week, described by police as an "organised violent attack" using swords and knives, have been granted bail.

Fifteen men were charged with affray yesterday for allegedly taking part in a pre-arranged fight between two groups of up to 50 people in Runcorn on Monday night.
